Box Critters Modding Community
The Box Critters Modding Community is a group of people researching ways to create Mods for Box Critters. It was created by slaggo, starting on discord, people can share mods and texture packs for this very game.
History
2019
April
The Box Critters Modding Community was first created on the April 14th, 2019[1] by slaggo and codejk and on the same day they started working on Critters+.[2] On April 15th, 2019 the first texture pack was created utilizing Switcheroo Redirector and was called BetterCritters and it added a bevel to all the existing textures. On April 17th, 2019 the CuteCritters texture pack was released adding textures for the hamster critter and the snail critter (Rocket Snail). Then on April 22, 2019 TumbleGamer joined the server and then the day after he started his project called Box Critters Texture Pack Manager to replace the usage of Switcheroo Redirector and released it 2 days later. The Github page for the community was created on April 26, 2019 with the creation of the Modding API Server, Critters+ and Texture Pack manager was moved across to the new github organisation. The Modding API Server was later launched on April 29th.
